Who Potable Water Delivery Is For
Potable delivery is for any job where the water will be consumed or will touch food service, temporary housing, event welfare, or a household cistern. Construction trailers and short-term facilities that need drinking water belong here too.
If your site has no tap, a failed line, or a temporary setup, a potable tanker is the way to put drinking-quality water on the ground.
What potable means on a tanker ticket
Potable means the load is fit to drink. Water Transport built that standard into the company when stainless tanks replaced a steel pot. Sanitation habits came from the dairy industry, not from a construction yard.
The Wintersville load station is supplied by Jefferson County Water & Sewer. That is the municipal source for drinking-quality bulk. If a job can take process water instead, say so. That is a different ticket under freshwater delivery.
Keeping the load potable from station to tank
Give dispatch the volume, the fill point, hose length, and whether the water must stay potable from station to tank. We will not mix a potable load with a process haul.
The receiving tank matters too. A clean load poured into a dirty tank is no longer drinking water, so confirm the tank is intended for potable use before the truck arrives.
Common uses
Crews use potable bulk for site trailers and temporary offices. Event organizers use it where a venue has no hookup. Facilities use it during an outage or a line repair. Households use it to refill a cistern, which is also covered on the cistern water page.
Companies that also need drinking water for a pad or pipeline job can pair this service with Frac Water Delivery or Hydrotesting Water, each on its own ticket so the water spec stays clean.
