Who Pool Water Delivery Is For
Pool water delivery is for homeowners with a new vinyl or gunite pool, anyone reopening a pool that was drained or low after winter, and owners who need a top-off when evaporation and splash-out pull the waterline down.
Club pools and commercial properties use the same service on a larger ticket.
Why fill a pool with a tanker
Filling a pool from the house meter takes days, spikes the water bill, and can strain old plumbing. A tanker from Hopedale puts treated municipal water in the shell so you can balance chemistry and swim.
We fill new vinyl and gunite pools, reopen closed pools in the spring, and top off mid-season when evaporation and splash-out drop the waterline.
Gallons, access, and the truck
Have a gallon estimate ready. A typical residential pool is 15,000 to 30,000 gallons; a tanker drop is sized to that, not to a garden hose. Tell us about gates, slope, setbacks, and whether the truck can sit on the street or needs the driveway.
If you only know the pool dimensions, a rectangular pool holds about 7.5 gallons per cubic foot of water, so multiply length, width, and average water depth in feet by 7.5. A round pool holds about 5.9 gallons per cubic foot, so multiply the diameter in feet by itself, then by the average depth in feet, then by 5.9.
Seasonal timing
Pool work is seasonal in the Ohio Valley. Book spring fills early. April and May book first. Liner replacements and mid-season top-offs run on shorter notice when the fleet allows.
What happens after the drop
Water for pools comes from the same Wintersville municipal source used for potable bulk. You still treat and balance the pool after the drop. We deliver the volume. You run the chemistry.
If the house also runs on a tank, the same account can handle cistern water. One dispatch for the pool and the house.
What to Have Ready
- A gallon estimate, or the pool dimensions and average depth.
- Whether this is a new fill, a spring opening, or a top-off.
- Where the truck can sit: on the street, or in the driveway.
- Gates, slope, setbacks, and overhead lines between the truck and the pool.
- The distance from the truck to the pool, so dispatch can plan the hose.
- The date the liner goes in or the pool opens, if one is set.
How It Works
- Call (740) 264-9999 on a weekday, or send a quote request with the pool details.
- Give dispatch the gallon estimate, the address, and the type of fill.
- Describe access: gates, slope, setbacks, and where the truck can park.
- Dispatch schedules a tanker sized to the volume.
- The driver fills the pool. You balance the chemistry afterward.
